CUET Admission Circular 2024-25
Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) Admission Circular 2024-25 has been published. The CUET Admission Form 2024-2025 must be filled online through the official admission website, admissioncuet.ac.bd. Admit cards must be downloaded from the same website. The admission test date schedule has been announced and will also be mentioned on the admit card. The seat plan will be published before the admission test. Separate seat plans will be published for KA and KHA units. The CUET Admission Result will be published after the completion of the unit-based admission test.

Required Qualifications
To apply to Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:
SSC/Equivalent: Must have passed SSC or equivalent exams in 2021 or 2022 with a minimum GPA of 4.00 (out of 5.00).
HSC/Equivalent: Must have passed HSC or equivalent exams in 2024.
Subject-Specific Requirements:
- Total GPA of at least 14 in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry in HSC.
- Minimum GPA of 3.50 in English in HSC.
- For Biomedical Engineering Department: Minimum grade point of 4.00 in Biology in HSC.
O-Level/A-Level:
- O-Level: Minimum grade ‘A’ in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English.
- A-Level: Minimum grade ‘A’ in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
- Must score at least 80% in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English in the 2024 higher secondary or equivalent exams.
- Minimum average score of 70% in secondary or equivalent exams.
CUET Admission Form 2024-2025
The admission form for Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology must be filled through the website admissioncuet.ac.bd. A separate admission form is required for each unit (KA and KHA). The application form can be filled from January 5 to January 18, 2025. The application process involves:
- Visiting the admission website and clicking on the “Eligibility Check & Apply” button.
- Verifying eligibility by selecting the appropriate education level (HSC/Alim/Equivalent).
- Filling out the application form with accurate information.
- Paying the application fee using a mobile number to receive an OTP for verification.
Application Fees:
- Group KA: 1200 BDT (including VAT)
- Group KHA: 1400 BDT (including VAT)
Applications without fee payment will be considered invalid.
Payment Instruction
At the end of the online application, the application fee must be paid through mobile banking services (e.g., bKash or Rocket). The payment must be completed by January 18, 2025. Steps for payment:

- Open the bKash app and select ‘Explore More’.
- Choose ‘Education Fee’ and select ‘University’.
- Choose Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology.
- Enter the Application ID, bill amount, and bKash PIN to complete the payment.
- Rocket:
- Dial *322# from your Rocket account.
- Select option 1 for payment, then option 1 for bill payment.
- Choose option 1 for personal accounts.
- Enter the applicant’s personal mobile number and Biller ID.
- Input the Application ID and the fee amount.
- Provide the Rocket account PIN to confirm the payment.
A confirmation message will be sent upon successful payment. If the application fee is not paid within the stipulated time, the application will not be accepted.
Admission Test Schedule
The admission test for Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology will be held as per the following schedule:

Only the top 20,000 candidates from valid applications will be eligible to sit for the admission test. The test will be conducted in a written format.
Admission Test Marks Distribution
The admission test will consist of a written examination. The distribution of marks for the unit-based admission test is as follows:
Group KA (Engineering Departments and Urban & Regional Planning Department):
- Mathematics: 40%
- Physics: 30%
- Chemistry: 20%
- English: 10%
Group KHA (Engineering Departments, Urban & Regional Planning Department, and Architecture Department):
- Mathematics: 30%
- Physics: 20%
- Chemistry: 15%
- English: 10%
- Free-hand Drawing (for Architecture): 25%
The total marks for the admission test will be 100. A minimum passing score is required for eligibility.
Seat Plan
Detailed seat plans will be published on January 27, 2025, before the admission test for each unit. Seating arrangements can be accessed through the admission website admissioncuet.ac.bd. Additionally, candidates will receive seat plan details via SMS to their registered mobile numbers.
Admission Result
The Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology admission results will be published on February 22, 2025, after the admission test for each unit is conducted. Results can be accessed through the website admissioncuet.ac.bd and via SMS. Candidates will be notified of their merit list and waiting list status.
