MBBS Admission Result 2024 – dgme.teletalk.com.bd
MBBS Admission Circular 2024 has been released for Government and Private Medical Colleges in Bangladesh. The Directorate General of Medical Education (DGME) published this Medical Admission Circular 2023-24 on 10 January 2024. Before this, DGME published the Admission policy of students in public and private medical colleges and dental colleges of Bangladesh. The MBBS Admission form for the academic year 2023-2024 can be filled from 11th January 2024 to 23rd January 2024. Application fee can be paid till January 24. Admission Test will be held on 9 February 2024.

Application Eligibility
According to the Medical Admission Circular 2024, the students interested in participating in the admission test in the academic year 2023-24-
- HSC/ ‘A’ Level/ Equivalent in 2023 and SSC/ ‘O’ Level/ Equivalent in 2021 or HSC/ ‘A’ Level/ Equivalent in 2022 and SSC/ ‘O’ Level/ Equivalent in 2020. However, the candidate must have passed SSC/ ‘O’ Level/ Equivalent Examination within two years of passing HSC/ ‘A’ Level/ Equivalent Examination.
- Minimum GPA of 9 in SSC/ ‘O’ Level/ Equivalent and HSC/ ‘A’ Level/ Equivalent Examinations. In case of Tribal and non-tribal from hill districts candidates aggregate GPA should be 8 in SSC/ ‘O’ level/ equivalent and HSC/ ‘A’ level/ equivalent examination. However, if the GPA is less than 3.50 in any single exam, you will be considered ineligible to apply.
- All applicants must have a minimum GPA of 4.00 in Biology in HSC/equivalent examination to participate in the admission test.
Online Application
Medical admission application will start from 11th January 2024, Thursday. Online application forms can be filled out from 10 am on this day. All the students have to apply through the prescribed website dgme.teletalk.com.bd for MBBS admission application. Applications can be made up to 23 January 2024. Detailed application instructions are available on the admissions website. The prescribed application fee has to be paid after applying online.
Application fee for MBBS admission test is Tk.1000. Application fee can be paid through Teletalk Prepaid Mobile Phone. Last date for payment of application fee is 24 January 2024. The applicant has to select the admission test center while paying the fee. Payment Instruction will be mentioned on the Applicant’s Copy. The application fee has to be paid through a total of two SMS.
1st SMS: MBBS <space> User ID and Send to 16222.
2nd SMS: MBBS <space> YES <space> PIN <space> Center Codes and to 16222.
Once the application fee is paid, the applicant will be notified immediately through a confirmation message along with his admission test center and other information.
MBBS Admit Card Download
MBBS Admission admit card for 2023-24 academic year in government and private medical colleges can be downloaded from February 5, 2024. The last date to download the medical admit card is 7 February 2024. The release of the MBBS Admit Card 2024 will be informed to the applicant through SMS. Candidates can download the Medical Admit Card by logging into the Admission website (dgme.teletalk.com.bd) with their user ID and password. The Printed admit card must be bring in Admission Test Hall. Along with the admit card, the candidate should carry the original registration card of HSC/equivalent examination.
The admit card will mention the Admission Test date, time, center name, venue name, address and detailed seat plan of the admission test. In addition, the detailed instructions of the admission test will be mentioned in the admit card. All candidates must follow those instructions.
Admission Test Date
Medical Admission Test 2023-2024 will be held on 9th February 2024, Friday. The examination will start at 10 am in various centers. The admission test will end at 11 am. All candidates must take seat at the examination hall at 9:30 AM. No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination center after the scheduled time. Candidates must Reach the examination center at 8.45 am.
Admission Test Mark Distribution
Written Admission Test 100 questions carrying 1 mark each for a total of 100 marks (as per HSC or equivalent syllabus). The subject-wise marks division will be Physics 20, Chemistry 25, Biology 30, English 15 and General Knowledge (History of Bangladesh and Liberation War) 10.
0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer in written examination. Score less than 40 marks in the written test will be considered as failed.
MBBS Admission Result 2024
Medical Admission Result 2024 will be released on 11 February 2024 after completion of admission test. MBBS Merit list will be prepared based on MBBS admission result 2024, SSC/equivalent and HSC equivalent exam results. Candidates who do not get 40 marks in the admission test will be considered as failed. Selected candidates will be informed about the MBBS Result through SMS. Also all candidates can know the result through the result.dghs.gov.bd website. Besides merit list, waiting list, migration result and all other information can be found on the website of the Directorate General of Medical Education (dgme.gov.bd).
5 marks will be deducted from the total marks of the students appearing for the second time admission test and 10 marks will be deducted from the total marks of the students who are already admitted in any government medical college or dental college.
